Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DGM - Automation & Projects to lead automation initiatives, drive efficiency improvements, and manage industrial automation projects across multiple plant locations. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting high-level automated machines, power distribution systems, and re-engineering solutions. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving capabilities, and a willingness to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee industrial automation projects, ensuring the seamless programming of PLC, drives, and electronics repair.
• Troubleshoot and rectify issues in high-level automated machines and utilities to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
• Handle Greenfield projects including the setup of HT and LT power distribution systems and plant equipment.
• Develop alternate parts and cost-effective solutions through re-engineering and optimization strategies.
• Provide technical support across multiple VForm & Secure plant locations as required.
• Train and mentor plant technical teams and facilitate competency development among engineers.
• Work closely with the operations and maintenance teams to improve automation processes and drive continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E. in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• 12 - 15 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and electronics repair.
• Proven expertise in handling highly automated machinery for troubleshooting and rectification.
• Experience in Greenfield projects and power distribution system setup (HT/LT).
• Strong background in re-engineering and cost optimization strategies.
• Leadership experience in managing multi-location projects and technical teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India as per business requirements.
