Asst. Manager - Sales & Service

Role & responsibilities

The Assistant Manager Sales & Service shall be responsible for serving customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations/applications of Mechanical Seals for rotating equipment. The selected candidate will be required to travel to customers located across the Pune region and Maharashtra State excluding Mumbai and Raigad. The work territory is subject to addition/change in terms of geographical locations.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Identify current and future customer requirements for mechanical seals by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers in the Pune region and the Western part of Maharashtra.
2. Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by promptly responding to questions and requests from OEMs such as KSB, Wilo, KBL, KEPL, etc.
3. Establish new accounts and service existing accounts by identifying potential customers and organizing sales call schedules.
4. Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environments and proposing changes accordingly.
5. Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
6. Submit offers by conferring with technical support staff.
7. Develop customer confidence by providing technical information and training.
8. Prepare sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information, engineering trends, and application data.
9. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
10. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
