Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and planning to execution, ensuring that the project meets its objectives in terms of quality, timeline, budget, and safety standards.
Coordinate and manage interior, civil finishes, and MEPF works, including kitchen installations and other hospitality-specific requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure smooth integration of design concepts into practical execution.
Oversee and approve project designs, documents, and construction plans, ensuring alignment with client requirements and local regulations.
Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure the timely delivery of milestones while addressing issues promptly.
Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety and quality standards and that the project progresses without delays or cost overruns.
Manage the project budget and schedule, review QS documentation and approve billing and payments, and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Implement and oversee project management methodologies and best practices at the site level, ensuring a structured approach to the projects development.
Liaise with stakeholders (owners, contractors, consultants, and local authorities) to address project challenges and ensure timely decision-making and approvals.
Maintain continuous communication with the client, offering updates, managing expectations, and ensuring that all client concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
Evaluate vendor performance and ensure that subcontractors meet the quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
Identify and manage project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues as they arise.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (Master’s degree will be an advantage).
A minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years dedicated to managing hospitality projects (preferably hotels).
Proven experience in managing complex projects involving interior design, civil finishes, and MEPF systems, including hotel kitchens and specialized hospitality requirements.
In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, including planning, budgeting, cost control, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
Experience working with local authorities in Srinagar or similar regions is highly preferred.
Strong experience with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across all stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong ability to work under pressure and resolve conflicts efficiently.
A comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, or similar frameworks.
Ability to review QS documentation and manage billing and approvals effectively.
Familiarity with the specific building codes and regulations applicable in Srinagar and the surrounding regions.
A strong focus on client satisfaction, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
