Job Title: Sr. Manager - Talent Acquisition
Location: MUMBAI
Reports To: Head of HR / Director of Talent Acquisition
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Sr. Manager - Talent Acquisition to lead and inspire our talent acquisition team.
- This individual will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and ensuring the successful acquisition of top talent across various functions.
- As a senior member of the HR team, you will also focus on mentoring and developing the talent acquisition team, while collaborating closely with key stakeholders to meet the organization's hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Vision:
- Provide visionary leadership to guide the talent acquisition team toward achieving recruitment goals.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Inspire and motivate the team to deliver exceptional performance in a fast-paced environment.
Team Management:
- Manage a team of talent acquisition professionals, delegating tasks effectively and setting clear performance expectations.
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop team members to maximize their potential.
Sourcing Strategies:
- Leverage multiple sourcing channels including job portals, social media, employee referrals, and internal databases to identify top talent.
- Develop innovative and creative sourcing techniques to build and maintain a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and recruitment trends to improve sourcing efficiency.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to prioritize recruitment efforts and deliver timely results.
- Ensure a seamless hiring process by providing regular updates and feedback to stakeholders.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Utilize data-driven insights to track and report on key recruitment metrics.
- Analyze recruitment performance and make data-informed decisions to continuously improve processes.
- Present regular recruitment updates and reports to senior leadership.
Talent Development:
- Foster an environment that encourages professional growth and continuous learning for team members.
- Identify skill gaps and facilitate relevant training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Promote internal career development initiatives to improve team retention and engagement.
End-to-End Recruitment Management:
- Lead the recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Oversee recruitment targets for various departments including Sales, Marketing & Support Functions and Leadership hiring.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and legal requirements.
Diverse Hiring Expertise:
- Manage recruitment efforts across diverse functions, ensuring the successful placement of high-quality candidates in Sales, Leadership, and other key roles.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes and leading talent acquisition teams.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and recruitment channels.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in using data analytics to drive recruitment decisions and improve performance.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with a passion for coaching and mentoring.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
