Our Editorial Team is looking for a Premium Content Senior Editor to oversee a new business entertainment vertical . The ideal candidate will be prepared to build a team of incisive content experts and manage a self-sustaining initiative of high quality, premium paywall content designed to engage and grow subscribers. Responsibilities:
- Site Leadership: Build ScreenRants Premium Content offering, aligning content strategy with overall goals
- Liaise with in-house Valnet resource teams on team progress, challenges, and operational needs
- Develop and implement strategies for sustainable growth in the entertainment and business spaces
- Oversee the growth of ScreenRants Premium Membership
- Content Strategy and Planning: Research and identify audience-driving topics using data from internal and external tools, expanding coverage of entertainment and business-related topics
- Source stories and unique angles to ensure engaging, authoritative content
- Team Management and Development: Build and lead a team of entertainment and business experts to produce daily deep-dive content
- Manage the development and training of the Editorial Team to ensure quality and output targets are met
- Ensure adherence to ScreenRants publication standards, offering regular feedback and performance assessments
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth
Must Have s:
- Proven experience in Senior Editorial roles such as Managing Editor, Deputy Editor, Editor-in-Chief, at digital publications specializing in business content
- Experience with Premium offerings, on-site or newsletter
- Strong proficiency in writing and editing
- A deep knowledge and passion for the entertainment industry, specifically Hollywood and technology
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives
