Position: Sales Head (Software)

Position Overview

The Sales Head (Software) will be responsible for leading the software sales division, driving revenue growth, and managing key client relationships. The candidate must possess extensive experience in software sales, including SaaS/Cloud services and ERP/CRM solutions. This role requires strategic thinking, team leadership, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Location: Kolkata

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the software industry.
  • Leverage expertise in SaaS and Cloud-based solutions to identify opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Drive sales initiatives for ERP and CRM solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear performance goals and regularly monitor progress.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Address client needs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor strategies.
  • Provide insights to enhance product offerings and positioning.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
  • Provide feedback to improve product features and functionality based on customer requirements.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of total experience in Software Sales, including 5 years of SaaS/Cloud-based services or ERP/CRM Sales:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS, ERP, and CRM ecosystems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Sales Management Software.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
