Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, advanced financial management skills, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance. The Finance Manager will oversee complex financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to the financial strategy of the organization.  

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Management: We are looking for a highly skilled Manager in our accounting and controllership team to take charge of accounting, cost control, and profitability improvement for the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen and an analytical mindset to guide the organization toward achieving its growth objectives while improving financial outcomes. This role is pivotal in ensuring that while the company’s revenue continues to grow, expenses are tightly controlled, and EBITDA is enhanced. 

Accounting & Financial Reporting :

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, financial statements, and month-end closing processes. 
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate financial records. 
• Lead financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits to ensure data integrity. 
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying trends and opportunities for cost optimization. 

. Process Improvement:

• Evaluate and enhance accounting and accounts payable processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation. 
• Identify and implement ERP and financial software solutions to streamline operations (e.g., QuickBooks, Salesforce, NetSuite). 
• Drive process standardization and best practices across finance functions. 

Compliance and Internal Controls:

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. 
• Conduct financial risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. 
• Oversee tax compliance and liaise with external auditors and consultants. 

Vendor Relationship Management:

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and negotiating payment terms.  
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, managing vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies.  

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Manage accounts payable, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations to optimize cash flow and payment terms. 
• Monitor working capital, ensuring efficient financial operations and budgeting. 
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and decision-making. 

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA Mandatory
• 6-10 years of experience in accounting, controllership, or financial management. 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. 
• Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, Salesforce preferred). 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 
• Open to collaboration between 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM (IST).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with accounts payable automation and process improvement initiatives.  
• Knowledge of financial practices is a plus.  
• Experience in a high-growth or technology-focused company is advantageous.
