Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, advanced financial management skills, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance.
- The Finance Manager will oversee complex financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to the financial strategy of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Management:
- We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to take charge of financial management, cost control, and profitability improvement for the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen and an analytical mindset to guide the organization toward achieving its growth objectives while improving financial outcomes.
- This role is pivotal in ensuring that while the company's revenue continues to grow, expenses are tightly controlled, and EBITDA is enhanced.
Process Improvement:
- Evaluate and enhance accounts payable processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control.
- Identify and implement automation tools and best practices to streamline accounts payable operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for accounts payable processes.
Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
- Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions and processes to ensure compliance and address any potential issues.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and negotiating payment terms.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, managing vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with procurement, legal, and other departments to resolve any accounts payable related issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, and collaborate with other finance staff to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA/CPA or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Open to Collaboration between 5:00 PM- 2:00 AM
- 7-12 Years of experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Quickbooks, salesforce, netsuite (good to have).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis techniques.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with accounts payable automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of financial practices is a plus.
- Experience in a high-growth or technology-focused company is advantageous.
