About the job:
- To work closely with Architects, Developers, PMC and establish and build upon relationships with them to ensure Schueco systems are selected for projects and used as most preferable solution by them.
- To represent SCHCO in a professional manner at all times with fabricators and their customers, including developers, architects, PMC etc.
- To service existing accounts effectively, fabricators, architects and developers, PMC etc.
- Execute logical and effective journey plans whenever possible and generate leads/enquiries of new projects and support fabricators to win the project with Schueco systems.
- Ensure customer manuals and price lists are kept up to date.
- Organize need based training for new and existing customers on product, manufacture, estimating and installation in conjunction with the training department.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to Sales Head or Regional Sales Manager on agreed dates.
- To keep up to date with project enquiries, enquiry funnel.
- Keep up to date on SCHCO products, market trends and competitors.
- Full support to fabricators / architects / builders / PMC in the designated area to ensure smooth order processing and all commercials with regard to supplying the material.
Education /Qualifications/Experience:
- 6 to 10 years total experience of which at-least 3 years previous experience in dealing with architects/developers/ fabricators
- Familiarity with the construction industry in general and the technical/commercial processes which are central features of all significant projects
- It would be an added advantage to have previous experience with the design/construction of facades or building envelopes and familiarity with related structural issues.
- A proven track record of successful business development, handling high unit-value commercial transactions
- Graduation in engineering (Civil / Mechanical) with a natural ability to handle commercial transactions well and problem solving.
- An MBA or equivalent would be an added advantage.
- Well developed inter-personal skills, good communication skills,
- Self-motivated with the determination to achieve results and win against strong opposition
- Commercial awareness and judgement to assess priorities and deal with them effectively to achieve business goals.
- Ability to plan and manage time efficiently to achieve optimum effectiveness
