Job Description

1. Post: Manager- OEM for Maharashtra & Goa.


2. Basic Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: B.E or Diploma (Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/Mechatronics)
  • Age: 35 to 42 Years
  • Gender: Male

  • Experience: 12-15 years
  • Industry Type: Safety, Sensors, Factory Automation, Electrical Switchgears component, Controls and Automation Products.
  • Location: Pune
  • Reporting: Zonal Manager

4. Purpose of the Job:

  • To handle Sales team members for sales activities of OEM customers, Panel builders, Project House, Special Purpose Machine builders, Line Integrators (Directly & Indirectly Through Distributor) from entire Maharashtra & Goa.
  • Generate sales in line with the assigned target with profitable YOY growth for the entire Maharastra and Goa.
  • To develop & manage concern team members, Channel Sales network, improvement of business from existing customers & focus on new customers.
  • To Increase Geography coverage, increase market share & creating awareness of Machinery Safety regulation/standard & initiating Project sales amongst various machine builders.
  • To manage approvals for our machine safety services and solutions from OEMs.
  • Handle the Key customers across the region to maintain the margin levels and penetrate more to generate new business.

5. Major Activities / Principal Accountabilities:

  • Team development.
  • To defend existing customer base.
  • To grow with existing customers by adding new products & solutions.
  • He should have preferably worked on System Solutions involving sensing, Automation & Safety architecture.
  • Has knowledge or worked on integration of solutions.
  • Has handled or has knowledge about PLC, Sensors, Position switches & Safety components.
  • New customer and market development.
  • Regular sales reporting/ Working experience on CRM.
  • Preparing Techno Commercial Offers.
  • Excellence in PPT, MS excel & data formulation are required.
  • Update of Competitor information/movement and market development
  • Market penetration with Solution & Technical sales approach.
  • Training & Presentation to customers.
  • Ability to work independently to manage entire sales operation to complete sales cycle.

  • Awareness of entire Geography & Related customers contacts of entire Maharastra & Goa.
  • Having good contacts/customer data base and relation with related customer in above mentioned territory.
  • Working experience to manage Channel sales management to develop channel sales network.
  • Technically sound with good level of understanding for faster improvement.
  • Good Presentation and Negotiation skill
  • Competitor Knowledge with their strength & Weakness.
  • CRM knowledge preferable
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Machinery Safety norms & Standard
