Layout Engineer (External)

Objective of the role

Support actively for elevator Layout preparation and Bill of material.

Main Tasks

1. Understanding the non-standard technical requirements from sales order.
2. Preparation of non-std. layout using Auto CAD 2011 and Schindler tool (Lift Designer)
3. Preparation of non-std. bill of material using Schindler tool (EtO)
4. Co-ordinating with other teams for cross functional support, Non-Standard data and add - delete sheets for BOM processing.
5. Working on Auto Cad, SAP, Excel Tools, other OEM based tools for performing the day-to-day work.
6. Planning and execution according to the department plans.
7. Support actively for cross-functional projects / tasks
8. Referred best demonstrated practices.
9. Fulfil assigned responsibilities according to BSC, apply corporate procedures, ON's & internal guidelines.
10. Responsible for quality, on time delivery, documentation for each application engineering activities, know-how of document creation & storage as per ISO requirement.

Education & Qualification

1. B.E Mechanical or Diploma in similar technical degree.
2. Auto CAD (Expert level) and Excel knowledge is must

Professional experience

1. 2 to 3 years of engineering industry.
2. Preference for candidate who has elevator experience.
