Deputy General Manager/General Manager - Quality (EMS)

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for ensuring quality Standards for EMS Manufacturing- AI, SMT, MI, Product Assembly.

- Representing customer for quality requirements i.e. control of change management, documents, CRM experience

- CRM experience of international clients

- Monitoring of process performance through process audits, well versed with Clean room requirements.

- Monitoring of daily line rejection and ensuring control of rejection through suggested actions.

- Best Practice implementation of similar industry.

- Monitoring and handling of customer complaints.

- Preparing and monitoring of corrective & preventive action for customers.

- Responsible for customer audits and timely closure of the action plans

- Ensuring Process non-conformances are raised and actions taken timely to mitigate them.

- Evaluating NPI projects with CFT Team, make time plan for production launch w.r.t Quality.

- Cross functional interaction to meet the requirements through CFT as and when required.

- Ensuring the implementation of ECN, PCN and Deviations and tracking the status

- Validation of All EMS manufacturing Special process and others- wave soldering, Reflow, Testing till Packaging.

- Preparing and review of quality documents PFMEA and Control plan and monitoring for timely updating.

- Conducting and monitoring of quarterly MSA activity.

- Imparting Training on i.e. Six Sigma, 7QC tools, ESD, IPC610, MSL, 4M Control, Poke yoke, ISO9001/4500, IATF equivalent.

Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Required:

- Bachelor Degree / Diploma with an Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communications Engineering

- A minimum of 15 plus years of experience in a factory of Electronics manufacturing environment. (EMS Background with SMT Experience)

- Must be Seasoned professional with Young & Dynamic Personality.

- Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.

- Strong leadership, Analytical and managerial skills.

- Worked on High Mix - Low Volume

- Organizational skills and multitasking ability

- Excellent management system expertise along with quality practices i.e. Six sigma, lean, quality core tools etc.

- ISO 9001 Requirement,

- IATF Requirement

- 7QC Tools, Why-2 & 8D knowledge

- Leading role of customer handling, Team mentoring and management
