.NET Developer - Security & Performance Focus

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, secure, and performant .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
• Implement unit tests and integrate with automated testing frameworks.
• Integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Introduction of security and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines:

1. Identify and implement appropriate security and performance testing tools.
2. Integrate these tests into the CI/CD workflow.
3. Analyze test results and propose solutions for identified issues.
4. Work collaboratively with the DevOps team to ensure smooth integration of testing practices.
5. Stay up to date with the latest .NET technologies, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques.

Competencies And Experience:

• 5-15 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of security concepts and vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, NetSparker) is a plus.
• Understanding performance testing principles and tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
