Role Overview:
- The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of a project, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards.
- This includes site preparation, vendor and customer management, application support, timely delivery, invoicing, and collections.
- As the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the project, the Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating all onsite activities and ensuring seamless interaction between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the project, from initiation to completion.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor project deliverables and performance indicators.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor onsite engineers and other team members.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and ensure accountability within the team.
- Vendor and Customer Management: Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, civil, and electrical requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and the internal team.
- Address customer queries and concerns promptly.
- Application Support and Technical Oversight: Provide application support and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ensure smooth functioning of software, hardware, and network components.
- Site Preparation and Infrastructure Management: Oversee site readiness, including civil and electrical work.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Invoicing and Collections: Prepare and manage invoices in coordination with the finance team.
- Follow up on payment collections to ensure timely receipt.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Technology (B.Tech) or Master's in Computer Applications (M.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in government projects.
- Strong knowledge of software, hardware, networking, civil, and electrical domains.
- Proven experience in vendor and customer management, invoicing, and follow-ups.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Hindi (speaking, reading, and writing is mandatory).
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Familiarity with government project workflows and standards is an added advantage
