Development Manager/Agency Manager

Role & responsibilities :

1. Achieving unit business goals through quality recruitment and training of

Life Mitras (LM)

2. Develop business segments as per company strategy with compliance

3. Business should be of very good quality and should not be detrimental to

the interests of the Company.

To recruit team of Life Mitras of very high quality and standards as per

the corporate strategy

4. To ensure and maintain levels of productivity as prescribed

5. To focus on and develop various business segments as per the sales

strategy

6. To train LMs with the help of L&D team

7. To ensure that there are no unethical business practices by his / her Life

Mitras

8. To ensure that there is no anti selection against the Company and that

the Company is not put to any financial loss due to poor quality of

selection of lives either directly or through his/her team of Life Mitras

9. To ensure high standard of quality of sales, very good quality of lives to

be insured and very good quality of Life Mitras

10. Adherence to Sales Quality policy of the company. The Development

Manager (DM) Group employee is responsible for the Quality of business

sourced by his team as defined in the Sales Quality Policy, as amended

from time to time.

11. To uphold the brand image and ensure compliance with all internal as

well as external regulations

12. To alert the Company against any adverse selection of lives

Preferred candidate profile :

1. Sound Knowledge of IRDA regulations

2. Good Communication Skills.

3. Good team building skills

4. Good knowledge of underwriting and ops processes

5. Training and motivation ability
