Role Purpose

To conduct day-to-day legal support for the Collection of dues from Customers in assigned regions.

To achieve recovery targets & Handle escalations raised by the Customers through various modes (Courts, Quasi-Judicial Forums, Investigating Authorities) for legal collection activities.

Role Accountability

  1. Achieving recovery targets as per MOU
  2. Conduct day-to-day legal support for the Collection of dues from Customers in assigned regions.
  3. Support for Handling Escalations raised by the Customers through various modes (Courts, Quasi-Judicial Forums, Investigating Authorities, etc.) for legal collection activities
  4. Provide Legal Support to sales and collections functions for escalation cases against employees.
  5. Prepare and maintain MIS for decentralized legal collection matters in assigned regions.
  6. Represent the Company in collection matters.
  7. Provide administrative support to litigation and advisory verticals in drafting replies, preparing evidence, etc.

Measures of Success

  1. Win Ratio%
  2. No adverse comments by businesses on legal collection support in the region
  3. Meet the recovery target for legal collections
  4. Ensure 100% resolution of escalated cases
  5. Process adherence as per agreed MOU

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

  1. Experience in Legal Collections
  2. Adept in handling escalation including Police escalation
  3. Market awareness in terms of collections best practices

Competencies critical to the role

  1. Collaboration & Teamwork
  2. Written and Verbal Communication
