System Administrator

Job Summary: We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Experience: 1+ Year

5 Days Working (Mon to Fri)

Location: Ahmedabad

Responsibilities

• Install latest windows OS, licensed software's and configure them for best performance.
• Assemble or disassemble PCs, Laptops and upgrade the components with the latest technology.
• Install development and productivity tools and configure them for new developers
• Resolve the hardware or software related issues faced by employees as soon as possible
• Work with hardware vendors to get the best quality workstation and accessories at the best possible price. Work with them for repair and replacement for parts in warranty
• Maintain a list of company PC, Mobiles, laptops etc in asset tracking software. Do the quarterly audit to ensure that physical stock and stock in software is matching.
• Quarterly do the audit of Software assets and identify gap and procure new license from supplier
• Create backup plans for automated incremental and full backups of files, databases, credentials etc, maintain multiple destinations for backups for disaster recovery
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Write technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
• Maintain companys email address and other software login access.

Essential Skills

• Good to have experience with Azure or AWS cloud services setup, budget alerts and monitoring.
• Must be proactive in nature and self learning abilities
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheet
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
• Should have written communication skill in english and familiarity with hardware
• Experience in sql server administration would be added advantage
• Have to have in-depth knowledge of operation systems.
