We are building a cutting-edge software team in India for a leading semiconductor inspection equipment manufacturer based in the Silicon Valley, California that develops and manufactures process-control and process-enabling solutions that accelerate tomorrow's electronic devices. Job Description - Left Right Mind is looking for the best and the brightest software engineers & application development engineers to help our client that develops industry-leading equipment and services that enable innovation throughout the electronics industry. You will be part of a team focusing on design and implementation of software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production. You will participate in full software life-cycle development UI design, development, testing and deployment.

Position Title : Senior Software Engineer

Position Type : Permanent

Job Location : Pune or Work From Home

Exp : 2+ Years

Roles and Responsibilities :

- 2+ years of work experience in machine control and embedded software development

- Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components

- BE/BTech/MS/MCA/MTech (CS/Electronics) or an equivalent degree is required

- Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems

- Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets

- Experience in requirements elicitation, design, development, effective reuse, diagnostics and configuration management.

- Good knowledge of popular Java frameworks

- Good knowledge of SDLC and software engineering

- Proven experience in debugging large complex software

- Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems

- Proven experience in using UML, OOP and OOD methodologies

- Self learner with the ability to work with minimum supervision

- Solid programming experience in C++

- Strong ability to understand software architectures/design and develop solutions conformant to defined architectures and design.

- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

- Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have :

- Experience in mixed mode (Java, C++, C#) application development

- High Performance Computing

- Image Processing

- Real Time Systems

- Semiconductor or Medical Devices company software experience
