Associate / Senior Associate - Finance, Accounts & Tax (India Entry & Expansion Team)

Department: India Entry & Expansion (IEE):

IEE team is responsible for India Entry & Expansion services of foreign clients, covering business advisory, setting up of entity, approvals, licenses, finance, accounting, tax, HR, Payroll, Corporate law and other legal requirements. IEE team handhold the client in their Indian operations for a period till they can manage their own.

Job description :

Looking for Qualified CA/CMA or Semi-qualified CA with relevant experience, in Finance, Accounting, and Tax compliance with good communication for advising & supporting our foreign subsidiary Clients in their Business setting up in India, finance, accounts, tax matters and licenses. Person expected to handhold the client, understand the need of the client and delivered through the team.

Role Category: Managerial/ Associate/ Senior Associate (Reporting to Principal Associate/ Associate Partner)

Job Description:

Category A: Non- Negotiable:

1. Responsible to hand hold a set of clients for setting up and running of their Indian operations.

2. Technical responsibility for finance, accounting, and tax compliances of the team.

3. Manage a team of 5-6 members and ensure proper execution of client engagements, timely delivery of work. (Finance, Accounting, MIS reports, TDS, TCS, GST, Advance Tax for various clients)

4. Responsible for task allocation based on client engagements, managing the CRM updates of the team, knowledge sharing on subject matters, and regulatory updates.

5. Review / Verification of tasks assigned to the team members and participation in internal and client review meetings to present/discuss client financial performance & critical subjects

6. Maintain cordial relationship with clients, deliver good quality service and ensure to attend to concerns or feedback.

7. Report on team and client-related updates to Team Leader and Management regularly

Competency and skill:

- Good knowledge in Income tax & GST laws

- Good knowledge in accounting standards / financial reporting

- Experience in Tally and other accounting software

- Good communication skills [English - Written & Spoken]

III: Qualification and Work Experience:

- Qualified CA / CMA with 2+ yrs. of experience or / Semi-qualified CA with 5+ years of experience

- Candidates with work experience in Audit / Similar Consulting firms along with corporate will be Preferred
