Job Description :

Tool Knowledge - Altium (Must Requirement) :

- Will play a vital role in leading the design and development of embedded systems, including schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection.

- Responsible for carrying out detailed spec requirement based on functionality, translating spec into actual system requirement and implementation.

- Ensure that designs meet performance, power, and size requirements while considering cost constraints.

- Provide technical leadership to the hardware engineering team, guiding the team in best practices and design methodologies.

- Very good understanding of high-speed PCB layout, all relevant issues pertaining to high-speed PCB designing like Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Impedance Matching, Signal termination, single ended and differential routing etc.

- Needs to have good experience in high-speed interfaces like DDR3, USB3, Ethernet.

- Required to have sound knowledge of PCB layout concepts and requirement for high-speed

communication interface like USB, Ethernet as well as DDR communication for PCB design.

- Need to have good knowledge in EMI/EMC design techniques.

- Create and review detailed documentation for hardware designs, including schematics, BOMs, and design verification reports.

- Maintain organized records of design changes, revisions, and lessons learned.

- Collaborate with software and firmware teams to integrate embedded hardware components seamlessly into complete systems.

- Procurement of various components as per the design.

- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ensure that embedded hardware designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in embedded hardware design.
