Project Engineer - Audio Visual Solutions (4-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Audio Visual (AV) systems integration, project management, and installation.

The role requires strong coordination, technical problem-solving, and client relationship management skills.

The candidate should be able to manage and execute projects from conceptualization to completion while ensuring high-quality standards are maintained at every phase.

Key Responsibilities :

- Follow established company processes and procedures for successful project delivery.

- Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from planning to final delivery.

- Conceptualize and design AV solutions in collaboration with senior team members to meet client needs.

- Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project requirements.

- Create and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient cost management throughout the project.

- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and projects are completed on time.

- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

- Facilitate communication between various internal and external teams, ensuring all parties are aligned on objectives, timelines, and responsibilities.

- Ensure that project documentation is complete, organized, and up-to-date.

- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any issues that need attention.

- Oversee the quality of work performed at the project site, ensuring that standards are met and maintained.

- Conduct site inspections to verify that installations are progressing as planned and identify any deviations from the design.

- Ensure all installation and commissioning processes are carried out according to industry standards and client specifications.

- Perform testing and troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure functionality before final handover.

- Resolve any on-site issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and services.

- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring that all materials and equipment meet project specifications and quality standards.

- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.

- Maintain positive and effective communication with clients throughout the project, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing updates, and offering solutions as required.

- Manage change requests from clients and adapt project scope and deliverables accordingly, ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Oversee the integration of AV systems, ensuring seamless operation and functionality.

- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.

- Troubleshoot issues that arise during installation or post-installation, ensuring quick resolution to avoid project delays.

- 4-5 years of experience in AV (Audio Visualisation) system integration, installation, and project management.

- Proven track record of managing AV system projects from concept to completion.
