Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage product-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and project deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, goals, and deliverables, and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with product owners, developers, designers, quality assurance teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Monitor project performance and adjust resources or processes to keep the project on track.
• Conduct regular project meetings, track progress, provide status reports, and ensure effective communication across all teams and stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring proactive solutions and mitigations.
• Facilitate change management processes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals for scope changes.
• Manage project-related documentation, including timelines, task assignments, budgets, and reports.
• Ensure projects comply with company policies, methodologies, and best practices for project management.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and productivity.
• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned for future projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field. A PMP or equivalent project management and Scrum Master certification is a must.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a product-based IT company.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Devops, MS Project.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed project decisions.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) certification is preferred.
• Experience in the [specific industry, e.g., SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, etc.] is a plus
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
