Job Description
This position will participate in support and implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions, primarily email solutions. This position will be supporting end users during the deployment of changes and new solutions. Through engagement of all stakeholders, with strong communication skills, this role will work with technical and project resources, to evaluate, deliver and support IT solutions.
Participate in evaluating technical solutions and collaborate with other teams to implement solutions on the Microsoft 365 Platform.
- Collaborate with team members, business partners and other stakeholders to review and refine use cases.
- Use analytic skills to interpret complex information and generate reports
- Self-starter who actively participates in problem resolution; setting priorities when appropriate and escalating issues to vendors when needed.
- Assist with production planning and deployment.
- Assist clients with ongoing support for applications.
- Gather User support data and develop reports.
- Conduct discovery sessions and assist business partners for new integrations.
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with overall 8 to 10 years of experience in below technologies with 8+ years of relevant experience:
Medium/Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
Microsoft 365 - Exchange Online Migration/ Implementation Support.
Perform Legal hold, eDiscovery of data across M365 suite.
Thorough knowledge and troubleshooting of DNS related technologies and email security standards like SPF, DMARC and DKIM.
Configure, maintain troubleshoot email gateways and security (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Cisco Iron port, etc...)
Better understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Connect, DNS, DHCP, group policy concepts.
Better understanding of Azure conditional access policies, Azure log analytics with knowledge on Kusto Query Language (KQL)
Querying transaction logs, audit and security logs to collaborate with security team for investigations.
ITIL Process Knowledge. Certification is a benefit.
Experience working with Microsoft 365 federated environments (Guest Access, B2B collaboration, etc.)
Good knowledge of the Office suite.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Intermediate to advance knowledge of scripting for automation using PowerShell or Python.
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of other automation technologies like Microsoft Graph API, Logic Apps (Power Automate), Azure Automation, etc.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, the ability to hunt down a problem and find a solution.
