Summary.
SAP BTP is the base for all future innovations at SAP.
SAP Ariba Globalisation Team focuses on providing services & solutions that strengthen SAP Business Network and other products in Ariba Suite of applications by delivering innovative customer facing SaaS solutions.
As an DevOps Engineer you will join this team and be overall responsible towards delivering initial setup, enhance and monitor delivery processes and CI/CD pipeline tools in collaboration with central DevOps and scrum teams.
Role/Responsibility.
Oversee & own continuous build, integration, deployment, and automation of software utilising tools like Jenkins.
Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure services running on BTP by applying best practices throughout the lifecycle of the release.
Implement containerisation strategies for efficient software development using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Develop fully automated pipelines for software delivery using CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines with SAP Project Piper.
Monitor system logs and activity on all servers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation and reliability of our development and production environments.
Stay updated with emerging technology offerings and identify opportunities to move existing infrastructure to more modern, scalable solutions.
Ensure critical resolution of system issues by using thorough root cause analysis techniques and coordinating with team members.
Professional Experience.
Education & Qualification B.
Tech/ M.
Tech/ MCA in a related technical discipline, ideally in Computer Science.
Work Experience [ Min 3 years].
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work under pressure.
Positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, SAP BTP, etc).
Experience with Jenkins and Cloud Operation skills(Build, Deploy & Run).
Working knowledge of DevOps automation concepts, practices & procedures.
Strong knowledge in any scripting language for infrastructure automation(JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Groovy etc).
Experience in building and deploying microservices.
Understanding of Dynatrace, Grafana, splunk.
Proven track record of maintaining system landscapes.
Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and KYMA is a plus.
Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
