Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
2. Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
3. Provide guidance and support to employees and management on EHS issues and concerns.
4. Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and develop preventative measures.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
6. Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
7. Stay current on EHS regulations and industry best practices to proactively identify and address emerging issues.

Qualifications:

- Post Diploma in Industrial Safety along with Diploma Mechanical or Automobile.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and industry standards.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

As a company committed to safety, health, and environmental sustainability, we are looking for an EHS Officer/Deputy Manager to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of safety and environmental responsibility.

 

1. Developing and Implementing EHS Policies:  will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's environmental, health, and safety policies in accordance with local regulations and industry best practices.

2. Training and Education: will develop and deliver training programs for employees to ensure they are aware of safety procedures, environmental responsibilities, and regulatory compliance.

3. Incident Investigation: In the event of accidents, near misses, or environmental incidents, the Sr Engineer-EHS will lead investigations to determine root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company is in compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. This includes staying up to date on any changes in regulations and adjusting policies and procedures accordingly.

5. Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

6. Emergency Preparedness: The Sr Engineer-EHS will develop and maintain emergency response plans to ensure the company is prepared to respond to emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.

7. Environmental Management: Help the company reduce its environmental impact by implementing waste reduction strategies, energy conservation programs, and pollution control measures.

8. Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to ensure that all departments are following company policies and procedures and are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

9. Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training programs, environmental data, and regulatory documentation.

10. Continuous Improvement: Work with the management team and employees to continuously improve EHS performance through the implementation of new technologies, processes, and best practices.
