CAM Programmer / CNC Specialist - Aerospace / Defence

Job Title: CAM Programmer / CNC Specialist
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production Engineering
Experience: 8–9 Years of Relevant Work Experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engineering Drawing Interpretation:

   • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
   • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications.

2. CAM Programming:

   • Expert in CAM programming using Siemens NX 2306:8500.
   • Experienced in programming for 5-Axis (5A) machines and Multi-Tasking Centers (MTC).

3. Verification and Optimization:

   • Ability to verify CAM programs using VERICUT for tool path accuracy and collision detection.

4. Process Understanding and Tool Selection:

   • Sound knowledge of machining processes, with the ability to select appropriate cutting tools based on material and process requirements.
   • Ability to design and develop special cutting tools when required for unique machining operations.

5. Machine Controllers:

   • Hands-on experience with CNC machine controllers, particularly FANUC, SIEMENS, and Mazatrol.
