PLC Programmer/Project Engineer

As a PLC Programmer/Project Engineer at Sansera Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing programmable logic controller (PLC) systems for automation projects. Additionally, you will be involved in managing and executing engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. Your innovative solutions and strategic planning will play a crucial role in maximizing efficiency and productivity within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems for automation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project milestones.
- Perform risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to mitigate project risks.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary components and equipment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Compile project documentation and reports for review by management and clients.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and automation systems.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
- Experience with PLC hardware and software from leading manufacturers (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
