Job Description:

As a PLC Programmer, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC programs for our manufacturing and industrial automation systems. You will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to ensure that our PLCs are properly programmed and functioning as intended.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop PLC programs for new automation systems and equipment.
2. Modify and debug existing PLC programs to improve performance and functionality.
3. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate PLCs with other control systems and equipment.
4. Conduct tests and simulations to ensure that PLC programs meet performance and safety requirements.
5. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to maintenance and operations teams.
6. Stay updated on the latest PLC technologies and best practices to ensure our systems are optimized for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC programming and automation systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
- Familiarity with PLC hardware and software from leading manufacturers such as Siemens, Mitsubishi and SCADA
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
