Tooling Engineer

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and validate tooling solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and design engineering, to ensure tooling meets production requirements.
- Conduct tooling trials and tests, analyzing results to make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
- Create and maintain documentation related to tooling design, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed tooling designs and models.
- Monitor tooling performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to tooling and manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams on tooling usage and maintenance.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in tooling design and engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering design tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and machining techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.
