Job Description

You will collaborate with business and IT domains to prioritize and strategize initiatives. You will manage the development and support of applications in Manufacturing Analytics and Operations. Drive continuous process improvement and work with various teams along the solution delivery value chain. Engage with stakeholders including Application Owners, Delivery Managers, Architecture teams, Data Scientists, DevOps, Security, Integration Factory, Infrastructure teams, Platform Support teams, ISRM team, and Product Owners to deliver industry-standard solutions.

Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

Design and manage the development of modular, reusable, and maintainable software or solutions for Manufacturing and Cross Functional strategic initiatives. Participate in fit-gap workshops, providing effort estimates and solution proposals.
Develop and maintain code repositories, responding rapidly to bug reports or security vulnerabilities. Integrate and promote software development best practices within the engineering community.
Collaborate extensively with colleagues across Security, Compliance, Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Product Service Management, and Business Management.
Enable data for frontend applications on AWS or other cloud platforms to support data lake and manufacturing analytics use cases. Drive use cases on near real-time and batch analytics, integrating with multiple internal and external systems.
Support the migration of manufacturing analytics data warehousing platforms to the cloud.
Ensure delivered solutions adhere to architectural and development standards, best practices, and meet requirements as recommended in the architecture handbook. Ensure designed solutions are aligned with Data and Analytics strategy standards and roadmap.
Bring innovations to the solutions and add measurable values to Manufacturing Business.

Role Requirements:

Familiar with Agile, Disciplined Agile, and Waterfall delivery concepts. Collect and interpret requirements to build supporting solutions that satisfy business needs.
Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Familiar with ADOIT, ERWIN, and data modelling.
Hands-on expertise in AWS, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and PowerBI is preferred. Experience with Python, Qlik Sense, and SAP Analytics (BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, S/4 HANA) is a plus.
Strong hands-on exposure in Data and Analytics solutions is a must. Previous experience with manufacturing business and knowledge in Advanced Analytics is preferred.
Functional knowledge in Quality and Supply Chain is preferred. Ability to learn new technologies and functional topics quickly.
Ability to align complex technical topics across many IT and Business teams. Digital savvy with a good grasp of the impacts and opportunities that data and technology create for Operations
