E Commerce Executive

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce or related digital roles, good knowledge of Shopify, and a good grasp of basic SEO. This is a pivotal role, coordinating across multiple teamsweb development, warehousing, and customer service—to ensure smooth day-to-day online operations.

Key Responsibilities

Web Development Coordination

• Liaise with external web development agency for site updates and issue resolution.
• Track and follow up on progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Website Updates & Management

• Maintain and update product listings, inventory status, and content on the Shopify platform.
• Ensure best practices in basic SEO for website content (e.g., metadata, page speed, etc.).

Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate daily orders and shipping requirements with the warehouse team.
• Troubleshoot any stock discrepancies or fulfillment delays.

Customer Query Management

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email or other communication channels.
• Escalate complex issues as needed and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

General Administration & Reporting

• Assist in the creation of weekly/monthly performance reports (sales, website analytics, etc.).
• Manage day-to-day operational tasks and ad-hoc assignments to ensure efficient e-commerce operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory if experience is relevant).
• Experience: 1–3 years in e-commerce operations, digital marketing support, or similar.
• Platform Knowledge:
• Hands-on experience with Shopify (adding products, updates, general administration).
• Basic familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, or other tracking tools.
• SEO Basics: Understanding of on-page SEO principles, metadata, keyword usage, etc.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in product listings, stock management, and customer communication.
• Organized & Proactive: Capability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
