Job Description

Samsara Technologies India Private Limited Technologies India Private Limited is looking for a Senior Security Engineer focusing on Systems Assessment to join our team.Youll focus on reviewing and optimizing the security configurations of key tools within Samsaras corporate environment and conduct security reviews of internal application proposals, ensuring they align with best practices and organizational standards.
This role is key to maintaining a strong security posture across our systems and applications..
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in our Bangalore office and 2 days working remotely.
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role..
In this role, you will:.
Lead the development and execution of a security assessment program to review and assess technical configurations of common tools..
Conduct detailed security assessments of internal applications, providing clear recommendations for approval or denial to security leadership..
Ensure all systems and tools align with security benchmarks, industry best practices, and organizational policies..
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address identified gaps, implement improvements, and enhance overall security posture..
Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, findings, and recommendations to support compliance and audit requirements..
Champion, role model, and embed Samsaras cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
