Work Experience : 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development, including end-to-end project delivery for high-impact analytics initiatives.

- Designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and data visualization solutions.

Key Responsibilities :
Dashboard Development and Maintenance :
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced Tableau dashboards and reports for high-impact business initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for high-stakes projects, ensuring dashboards meet critical business needs.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience, with a focus on delivering insights for leadership and decision-makers.
Data Integration and Preparation :
- Connect Tableau to diverse data sources, including SQL databases, APIs, and flat files, for mission-critical analyses.
- Prepare, clean, and transform data for visualization using Tableau Prep or other ETL tools to support strategic projects.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data in all visualizations, especially those used for executive-level reporting.
Collaboration with Stakeholders :
- Work closely with business users and senior stakeholders to identify KPIs and reporting requirements for high-value initiatives.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on Tableau usage and self-service analytics to empower teams working on critical projects.
Innovation and Best Practices
- Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and advancements in data visualisation to improve outcomes of high-visibility projects.
- Apply best practices in visualization design and data storytelling to ensure clear, actionable insights for key decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the organization's analytics capabilities, especially for projects with enterprise-wide impact.
Troubleshooting and Support :
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Tableau dashboards or data sources, especially those affecting business-critical deliverables.
- Conduct performance tuning of Tableau workbooks to improve load times and interactivity for high-priority visualizations.
Required Skills :
Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data from relational databases.
- Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.
Visualization Skills :
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices, including effective chart types,colors, and layout.
- Experience creating complex calculations, parameters, and dynamic filters in Tableau.
Soft Skills :
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present insights clearly,especially for high-stakes decision-making.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Desired Candidate :
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Experience with Tableau API for automation and customization.
