Quality Assurance Lead Engineer - Appium/Selenium (8-12 yrs)

The QA Lead for Digital is the primary Quality owner of Digital websites and mobile app. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital experiences websites & mobile app through meticulous testing processes. This role involves leading QA efforts for web and mobile platforms, primarily built on the Sitecore and ensuring seamless functionality, performance, and user experience across devices. The QA Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, drive automation, and maintain quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Job role :

- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and methodologies for Digital websites and mobile app

- Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for projects and releases.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define quality goals.

- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.

- Drive adoption of automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency. Build automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms using tools like Selenium, Appium, or BrowserStack.

- Manage and mentor QA team members, providing guidance and training.

- Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and risks.

- Foster a culture of quality and accountability across teams.

- Ensure compliance with Sitecore standards, accessibility (e.g., WCAG), and cross-browser/device compatibility.

- Oversee testing for mobile apps across Android and iOS platforms, focusing on responsiveness, usability, and performance.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with Agile workflows.

- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.

- Provide insights on improving development processes to enhance quality outcomes.

- Lead Quality Assurance Initiatives : Oversee the mobile QA team, driving the testing lifecycle and ensuring adherence to best practices in both manual and automated testing.

- Automation Testing : Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Appium, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across iOS and Android platforms.

-Cloud Services Utilization : Leverage cloud-based testing platforms like PCloudy to execute tests on various devices and configurations efficiently.

- Lead a team of QA engineers/testers focused on Sitecore and mobile testing.

- Mentor team members to enhance their skills in automation and domain expertise.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify development opportunities.

- Manage budgets for testing tools and infrastructure.

Required Experience and Skills :

- Experience : 8+ years in Quality Assurance, with 5+ years leading QA efforts for websites and mobile apps.

- Hands-on experience testing Sitecore-based websites, including content management workflows, personalization, and analytics features.

- Expertise in mobile app testing (both Android and iOS), including familiarity with App Store/Play Store release processes.

- Proficiency in automated testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience with Selenium, JMeter and automation tools
