Position: Assistant Manager / Manager- EHS

Looking for candidates with 10+yrs of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) in Pharma / Nutra Industry.

Job Location: Hyderabad.

Experience: 10 & Above

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Food Safety Management System
• Ensuring that the Food Safety Management is operating and maintained in the company as per the ISO 22000:2005 and BRC Standards.
• Ensuring the food safety aspects w.r.t work carried out in the factory.
• Initiating, recommending and providing solutions to problems related to product food safety and verifying that the solutions are effective.
• Conduct safety audit/plant inspection and arrange compliance of recommendations to eliminate unsafe conditions.
• Carryout plant inspections in-order to observe and prevent unsafe action by workers.
• Participate in safety committee meetings, prepare minutes and report, conduct safety training to employees.
• Safety about process hazards when new chemical process introduced and advice the production staff to ensure safety.
• Checking of fire extinguishers and maintaining records and conducting mock drills.
• Issuing the work permits for hazardous nature of work like work at height. Hot work and vessel entry.
• Maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant.
• Preparing all the necessary forms and returns that are needed to be submitted to the Pollution Control Board.
• Any other works instructed by your reporting authority.
