Sales Officer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Visit travel agents across locations to drive sales.
• Monitor ticketing sales performance of active agents.
• Reactivate inactive agents and onboard new agents for both online and offline sales.
• Keep track of competitor activities and provide daily updates to management.
• Build, service, and maintain strong relationships with agencies in the assigned market.
• Clearly explain products and offerings to clients.
• Collaborate with a mix of large and small B2B agents.
• Manage payment collections and follow up on credit and outstanding amounts.
• Prepare and share sales plans and reports with seniors regularly.
• Stay updated on market trends and competition.
• Devise strategic plans and compile comprehensive sales reports.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Industry Preference: Telecom, FMCG, Travel, E commerce, (B2B sales)
• Strong network and contacts within the Chennai region.
• Energetic, proactive, and well-spoken candidates with excellent communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with field sales.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in field sales.
• Product knowledge in areas like online ticketing portals, railways, non-air products, hotels, etc., is preferred.
• Candidate needs to have basic System & MIS knowledge.
