Asst.Sales Manager/ Sales Manager- Mktg-VB, Chennai

Accountability:

• Accountable for achieving the sales targets for the assigned business unit / regions and position Visaka as the most preferred supplier of products to customers/markets

Responsibilities:

• Prepares Monthly/Quarterly/Half Yearly/ Annual sales plans for the assigned regions in consultation with HOD
• Implements credit policy of the company, analyses outstanding payments and follow-up with concerned stockists / customers for early realization of payments.
• Ensures timely receipt of payments and follow-up for outstanding dues.
• Monitoring timely supply of materials and attends to all customers queries
• Analyzes various complaints received from customers ( quality/price/quantity) on priority basis and address the issues immediately in consultation with IB/
• Organize dealer meets, sub-dealer meets, carpenter meets technical meets etc. to position VISAKA and improve the brand recall.
• Ensures VISAKA brand is positioned in the assigned regions / markets by implementing various publicity initiatives such as brand campaigns, mockups, mobility vans, kiosks, exhibitions etc.
• Maintains cordial relations with existing customers and enhance the order intake by positioning Visaka as the most preferred supplier
• Pursue and develops new clients by conducting thorough market research and follow up with prospective key clients
• Ensures the customer feedback is gathered through various formats/sources and discuss with IB/Regional Manager on improving the satisfaction levels
• Follow up with customers/vendors for all statutory requirements in terms of GST , Pan card and other necessary documents availability to ease the sales/receipts/payments process
• Prepare various reports on monthly stock levels, booking data ,sales and costing data and consolidates the same for IB review
• Attends to review meetings and provide necessary information on actual sales / trends/ market intelligence/customer intelligence/ cost estimates/payments and issues to top management
• Attends to all internal/external audits and provide necessary clarifications in consultation with HOD.
• Ensure timely and effective implementation of performance management system by seeking/providing regular feedback, conducting formal reviews, and identifying training and development needs
• Discharge any additional roles and responsibilities as directed by management from time to time.
