Sales Co-ordinator

Financials & Planning *Responsible for Sales Generation for banquets.
*Seeks ways to maximize revenues and profits including up selling other facilities and services. Internal Process *Responds to and co-ordinates all internal meeting requests.
*Establishes rapport with the guests maintaining effective customer relationships and handles enquiries, requests and complaints on the services provided.
*Responsible towards contracts, bookings and raising invoices.
*Responds to and co-ordinates all internal meeting requests.
*Checks timely responses for online and offline queries.
*Works as a one point contact and consultant to guest from the first call till the day of the event contracting bookings and raising invoices.
*Ensures timely dissemination of information to all concerned departments by the team members for effective event planning. Customer *Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
*Develops strong partnerships with local organizations to further increase brand/product awareness.
*Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships. People *Participates in the departmental and individual training needs, develops training calenders, conducts training and recommends suitable training programs to address individual capability gaps. Participate in certification of team members in key skills. Ensures self and directly reporting managers attend appropriate core training classes.
*Demonstrates a culture of recognition by actively participating in the STARS (Special Thanks and Recognition System) Program.
*Demonstrates a culture of Trust, Awareness and Joy by conducting departmental meetings, reviewing V-Connect feedback, drawing and implementing suitable action plans. Audit And Compliance *Reviews audit findings - Safety/Hygiene and TPAM (Taj Positive Assurance Model) and takes corrective measures to ensure full compliance .
*Prepares the internal audit checklists as per the IHCL Safety Guidelines.
*Adheres to all departmental legal compliances. Safety *Identify risks and develop HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment).
*Adheres to roles and responsibilities pertaining to safety as defined by the hotel from time to time as per the PCM (Progressive Consequence Management) SOP and IMBC (Incident Management and Business Continuity).
