Supply Chain Manager, Chakan

JOB PURPOSE : To coordinate production planning, material planning, logistics, and warehousing activities, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands and organizational goals.

• Review and update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
• Document physical supply chain processes, including workflows.
• Prepare Value Stream Diagram of supply chain to facilitate discussions with customers and stakeholders
• Select transportation routes to optimize economy and efficiency.
• Selection of right mode of transport.
• Collaborate with FFs and CHAs to exploit Government schemes.
• Ensure alignment of ERP/SAP systems with SD, MM & PP Modules.
• Utilize ERP interface with OE customer portals, particularly OEMs like SAVW, Mahindra, Switch Mobility and Tata etc.
• Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits, audits, and measurements.
• Monitor supplier and service provider performance to assess compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
• Monitor forecasts and budget to identify changes impacting supply chain activities
• Collaborate with supply chain planners to forecast demand and create supply plans.
• Manage warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and vision, focusing on layout setup and space utilization.
• Ensure effective implementation of Groups manufacturing strategy. Elimination of NVAs in processes.

1. Production Output: Number of units produced per shift.

2. Inventory Levels: Quantity of materials and finished goods in stock.

3. Order Fulfillment Rate: Percentage of customer orders fulfilled on time.

4. Lead Time: Time taken from order to delivery.

5. Warehouse Capacity Utilization: Percentage of warehouse space utilized.

6. Transportation Costs: Total expenses incurred for shipping.

7. Supplier Performance Metrics: On-time delivery rate, quality metrics, etc.
