Lead of Head of IT Infrastructure and Security

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Lead of Infrastructure & Security to lead Cohizons IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and service management functions. This role will be responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing IT operations, including networking, servers, databases, cloud platforms, service desk, and analytics. The ideal candidate should have expertise in latest technologies across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT service management (ITSM), cloud computing, and data center operations to support business growth and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Operations:

• Oversee the IT infrastructure landscape, including data centers, servers, storage, network, and cloud platforms.
• Lead cloud strategy and hybrid IT environments (Azure, AWS, SAP, On-prem).
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning (BCP).
• Optimize database performance and storage management across enterprise applications.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management:

• Develop and enforce IT security policies, risk assessments, and governance.
• Implement and manage firewalls, endpoint security, IAM, SIEM, and SOC operations.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Monitor security threats and respond to incidents effectively.

Network & Connectivity:

• Manage WAN, LAN, VPNs, wireless networks, and ensure secure remote access.
• Optimize network performance, uptime, and redundancy.
• Implement zero-trust security models and network segmentation.

IT Service Management & Helpdesk:

• Lead ITSM frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) for service desk and support teams.
• Ensure efficient ticketing, issue resolution, and user experience.
• Drive automation (RPA, AI chatbots) for IT support and self-service portals.

Data & Analytics Infrastructure:

• Support data warehouse/lake, analytics, and business intelligence platforms.
• Ensure data availability, security, and governance for AI/ML initiatives.
• Optimize database performance and storage solutions for real-time analytics.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

• Manage relationships with technology partners, MSPs, and security providers.
• Optimize IT procurement, contracts, and licensing.
• Collaborate with SAP, applications, and business teams to enable digital transformation.

Key Requirements:

• 12-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and operations.
• Strong expertise in networking technologies such as SDWAN (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet), cloud computing (AWS, Azure), virtualization, and databases.
• Experience in cybersecurity frameworks, endpoint protection, and access management.
• Proven track record in IT service management, helpdesk, and ITIL-based operations.
• Hands-on experience with disaster recovery (DR), backup solutions, and business continuity.
• Exposure to automation, AI-driven analytics, and monitoring tools.
• Experience in manufacturing IT environments (chemicals industry) is a plus.
