Job Description:

This role is responsible for retaining and garnering market share in the Plasters business based at Kolkata encompassing the entire region. Ensuring awareness among our customers with promotional activities & loyalty program. Expanding customer base with new dealer appointment in new territories and ensuring statutory compliance for smooth functioning of daily business.

• Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales target: Responsible for project sales business for the assigned territory. Proper forecasting, building up project pipelines, & achievement of Sales as well as specification budgets.
• Business Development: Identify new opportunities for conversion; convert the identified opportunities into revenue generating business.

• Key Account management: Involved in customer initiatives & technical engagement (for selected accounts). Generating & driving specifications for all architectural products through Architects, Clients, PMCs, and Turnkey contractors across the assigned territory as well as for other regions.

• Channel Management: Geographical expansion by appointing dealers / Sub dealers and managing them efficiently. Maintain a database of Dealers, Applicators, Contractors, Carpenters, Aluminum Fabricators, and Masons in the allotted geography & convert them into business by tracking each activity. Develop contractors with the help of training through the technical team.

• Market development activities: Identifying and driving business development activities for growth in new products, segments, and applications for the Key accounts.

• Market Intelligence: Gather information from the market on competitions activity & market mapping to gather competitions price information, analysis & steps for market share upgrade.

Preferred candidate profile

Job Knowledge/Work Experience:

• Understanding of Sales function
• Experience in sales and marketing of Building Material Industry or related segments (same target customer).
• Experience in handling key accounts including architects and channel partners (dealers).

Education (Preferred Degree):

• BE (Mech / Civil / Electrical) or equivalent PG: MBA preferred.
