Purchase Executive

Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships with key stakeholders for managing expectations and improving cooperation across different departments of the plant.

2. Operational Performance/ Service Delivery:

a. Ensure the day-to-day activities of the Purchase are performed in compliance to the standards and performance measure set in as per the approved purchase policy/SOP.

b. Managing & executing sourcing activities and order fulfillment: Floating of RFX, commercial evaluation, receipt of technical evaluation/ recommendation, negotiations, management approval and order punching.

c. Ensuring effective utilization of E-tools for leveraging the negotiation and compliance of procurement process.

d. Follow-up on MRO Purchase Orders, closure of Open PR, closure of Open PO & establishment of periodic reviewing mechanism.

3. Vendor Management: Coordination for supplies, payment & deliveries.

a. Identifying new suppliers, wherever single source exists.

b. Supporting the team on Vendor rationalization & establishment of Aggregator model.

Candidate requirements

• Technical Knowledge / Experience: Experience in Procurement/ Purchase from Manufacturing industry. Knowledge of MM Module in SAP System.
