Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Technical Analysis and Design:
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports to assess project viability.
• Utilize mining software for modelling and simulation of mining operations.
• Project Monitoring and Management:
• Oversee project execution to ensure compliance with timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Track production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Commercial Oversight:
• Prepare project budgets and financial forecasts; analyze costs and resource allocation.
• Monitor market trends and provide strategic recommendations for project investments.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, environmental specialists, and operations staff.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical and project management practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or masters degree in mining engineering knowledge of different types mining such as UG, opencast, solution mining etc. in metals, minerals and salts.
• Preferably from a reputed institutes such as IIT, ISM, NIT etc
• 10-15 years of experience in mining engineering and project planning.
• Strong knowledge of geological principles and practices relevant to mining.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety standards in the mining industry.
