Job Description
We are currently recruiting for the position of MEP Design Engineer at our Head Office for our ambitious redevelopment project at Bhendi Bazaar. We are looking for Mechanical Engineer having experience of designing plumbing system and firefighting system in high rise Non-AC Residential Building.
Minimum Experience : 10 15 years
Essential Requirements:
- Graduate in Mechanical or Civil engineering (B.E./ B.Tech.)
- Hands on experience of AutoCad and advanced MS Office Skills
- Well conversant with all applicable codes and standards like NBC, IS codes, NFPA, etc.
- Should be able to create BOQs
Advantageous additional qualifications:
- Experience of plumbing / firefighting for residential high-rise buildings
- Experience of HVAC and electrical system design
- Candidates who have worked with either consultant or residential developer in core design-coordination team
- Knowledge of Revit and BIM Software
- Site experience of 1- 2 years
- Day to day coordination with MEP consultants as well as in house design, liaison and site teams.
- Review of DBR, space planning, tender documents and BOQ received from consultants.
- Review of GFC and shop drawings received from consultants and contractors
- Review of technical submittals and technical review of material delivered at site.
- Regular site visits
- Documenting all process and creating SOP s
- Communication with all internal and external stake holders
