Role Overview:
Sagar Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is looking for a highly strategic, innovative, and execution-focused Head of Digital & Brand Strategy to take full ownership of the company's digital positioning, branding, and marketing operations.
This role goes beyond conventional digital marketing-we need a visionary thinker who understands branding at a global scale, digital-first audience behavior, and new-age marketing strategies. This person will oversee the entire brand identity of SPE and its IPs, ensuring it is positioned as a modern, globally competitive entertainment powerhouse.
The ideal candidate is not just an executor but a marketing strategist with a keen instinct for audience engagement, content impact, and cultural influence. They must be fluent in storytelling, digital growth, and integrated marketing, able to craft campaigns that don't just perform-but leave a lasting imprint.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Brand Strategy & Positioning:
- Own and define SPE's overall brand strategy, ensuring consistent storytelling and positioning across digital, internal, and external platforms.
- Align branding, content strategy, and audience engagement with global entertainment industry benchmarks.
- Ensure SPE's identity and key IPs have a distinct, recognizable presence across all platforms.
2. Digital Content & Campaign Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of brand campaigns-from concept, creative development, production, and media deployment.
- Oversee video marketing strategies, ensuring that all digital content (short-form, long-form, interactive) is optimized for audience impact.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive marketing calendar covering brand campaigns, thought leadership, employer branding, and strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with the creative team, PR, leadership, and agency partners to execute high-impact digital campaigns.
3. Social Media & Community Building:
- Develop high-impact social strategies that focus on engagement, interactivity, and fan-driven digital experiences.
- Build hyper-engaged online communities around key IPs and the SPE brand through UGC, digital activations, and storytelling.
- Oversee LinkedIn Employer Branding, ensuring SPE's leadership, culture, and vision are represented as an industry benchmark.
4. Corporate & Internal Brand Management:
- Establish SPE's brand identity across office spaces, internal communications, and company culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR, leadership, and PR to design internal engagement campaigns that enhance company culture, brand pride, and employer branding.
- Work on strategic partnerships, industry event presence, and award submissions to enhance corporate credibility.
5. Performance Marketing & Growth Strategy:
- Lead data-driven digital marketing initiatives, optimizing reach, engagement, and conversion across all digital platforms.
- Execute performance marketing campaigns (SEO, social ads, influencer partnerships, strategic paid media).
- Stay ahead of digital algorithms, engagement models, and new platform opportunities to maximize brand impact.
6. Strategic Industry Partnerships & Emerging Media:
- Establish high-value collaborations with digital platforms, content creators, and industry leaders to expand SPE's reach.
- Identify and execute non-traditional brand expansion opportunities, including gaming, Web3, AI-driven storytelling, and immersive digital experiences.
- Leverage real-time cultural trends and viral opportunities to drive brand visibility and audience engagement.
7. Leadership & Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work directly with the CEO and leadership team to craft and execute long-term marketing and brand strategies.
- Own marketing operations end-to-end, ensuring the right processes, workflows, and execution plans are in place.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between marketing, creative, PR, HR, and production teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Manage marketing budgets, agency relationships, and vendor partnerships for cost-effective, high-impact campaigns.
Key Qualifications & Mindset:
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, brand strategy, marketing leadership within entertainment, media, or digital-first industries.
- A sharp, strategic marketing mind-not just an executor but a visionary who can anticipate trends, create brand-defining campaigns, and disrupt the market.
- Deep familiarity with the media and entertainment industry, including how IPs, brands, and audiences interact digitally.
- Strong expertise in digital storytelling, audience psychology, and brand positioning.
- Hands-on experience in video marketing, performance campaigns, and engagement strategies.
- Exceptional English communication skills-capable of selling not just campaigns, but a compelling long-term brand vision.
- A strong instinct for audience engagement and digital behavior shifts, able to build lasting brand presence, not just short-term campaigns.
- Experience leading creative teams and cross-functional collaborations, ensuring brand alignment across internal and external communications.
- A problem solver and growth hacker-knows how to turn challenges into high-engagement digital wins.
