Civil Engineer

Purpose of the role:

To monitoring a project in a specified time frame.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Full time Site Supervision

2. Regular tests defined in the scope to match with the drawings/specs.

3. Monitor progress of construction, quality and safety related concerns.

4. Maintain Daily/Weekly Progress Report

5. Good understanding of project drawings and design related to construction (Architectural, civil, structural, services, etc).

6. Coordinate project construction process with the Developer / Consultants / Contractor.

7. Hold regular review meeting with Developer, Consultants, Contractor and client representative at site to assess construction progress as per schedule and understand bottlenecks of various activities.

8. Inspect and check quality measures to ensure work methods are as per approved standards.

9. Ensure timely submission of monthly progress report, non-conformity report and site observation report to site in charge.

10. Maintain accurate records of quality documents for every activity.

11. Resolution of any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

The incumbent must possess following competencies/ skills:

1. Project Planning and Management

2. Knowledge and Understanding of Civil Construction, Structures, IS Codes and Finishes

3. Knowledge and Understanding of local bye laws and compliances

4. Expertise in Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, Other civil / PMC software
