Job Description

Sagar Asia is looking to hire an experienced Commercial manager to maintain solid relationships with the company's key clients in its business verticals Access Equipment, Aircraft Docking Systems, Wind Lifts, Ladders etc . The commercial manager's responsibilities include growing the company's revenue by ensuring management of key clients are satisfied and should be able to develop relationships with clients to handle payment collections with recurring sales. Candidate should be able to handle signing contracts with customers/ Channel partners. Should have experience to handle the Industrial Sales, channel Sales, Government Sales.

Role & responsibilities


Commercial managers work in a variety of settings, including retail, logistics, telecommunications, and finance. They need to have excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport with clients.


Location : Medchal, Hyderabad


  • Financial management: Overseeing a company's finances, including revenue, risks, and client relationships
  • Negotiating: Negotiating contracts with clients, customers, and suppliers to maximize the company's ROI
  • Identifying opportunities: Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities
  • Managing projects: Coordinating teams to align with the company's commercial strategy, and overseeing the financial aspects of projects
  • Managing risks: Managing commercial risks and developing strategies to overcome them
  • Improving processes: Continuously improving processes and procedures
  • Adhering to regulations: Adhering to regulatory guidelines and managing commercial compliances
  • Reporting: Maintaining reports and records of budgets, expenses, and revenue
  • Supporting other departments: Supporting other departments with queries about commercial processes
  • Developing the commercial strategy and the commercial direction of projects/ Orders
  • Negotiating with customers, suppliers and manufacturers
  • Building and managing relationships with customers
  • Conducting market research
  • Monitoring the progress of projects/ Orders
  • Overseeing the performance of the commercial team
  • Providing direction to the project team
  • Pursuing new business opportunities
  • Monitoring budgeting expenses
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks
  • Should have experience in handle exports, DGFT, etc.

Create a "Contract" plan, including all relevant commercial and technical milestones, including shipping dates, inspection requirements, and engineering and production time scales.

This may involve contract review meetings with manufacturing plant; responsibilities include management of


  • Ensure timely renewals for all legal documents with partners and developers.
  • Responsible to orders and timely delivery.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of information relating to the company's business and staff.
  • Should handle secretarial compliances for group companies,
  • Compliances regarding subsidiaries abroad and foreign company subsidiaries in India including FDI/ODI,
  • All aspects of Human Resources function of recruitment, appraisals, exit etc., All aspects of Industrial Relations, Contract Labour engagement and management,
  • egal w.r.t. all types of agreements pertaining to ongoing businesses.
  • Preparation of project reports for new ventures, tie-up and meetings with relevant agencies, bodies, people etc., in India and abroad.

Preferred candidate profile


  • ICWA/CS with 10 years experience in a medium scale manufacturing company handling GST/Customs/DGFT and handling shipments on a regular basis
  • A flair for good communication and should travel at short notices.
