Role & responsibilities


We are looking for an experienced Country Head Sales for our Access Equipment Division to contribute to our companys sales objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships.

As a Country sales head, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers.

Developing and implementing effective sales strategies.

Leading nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

Hiring and training team members, setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales.


You will be responsible for all the aspects of Marketing, Sales and Business Development of the company that are as follows:


  • Complete national sales operations - scheduling and assigning work/Targets to Sales personnel. Following up on work results and ensuring their targets met.
  • Ensuring all sales personnel job results by Coaching, counselling and disciplining them
  • Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results of all the Sales personnel
  • Contributing to team effort for accomplishing the Sales Targets
  • Required to fill the gaps in Marketing / Sales departments to create a Pan India/ Global Marketing organization
  • Required to visit existing and prospective Customer in India.
  • Motivate and drive the sales force to Ensure Targets reached by them.
  • Responsible for CRM Implementation and Change Management of Marketing Department to create a system driven sales organization
  • Responsible for Vendor Registrations with all Major corporate and Industries - Setup a team and process to achieve target based results
  • Responsible for Rate Contracts - with all Large and Medium Industries and Corporate customers
  • Responsible for Managing Major Accounts - Defence, Railways, energy, Telecom, Manufacturing etc
  • Collaborate with design, Production and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met
  • Responsible for GEM related sales work with team on regular basis target based
  • Customer Service: Responsible for service delivery and servicing the customers
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers, Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects
  • Driving the Appointment of Channel Partners (Master Distributors/ Super Distributors) - You are required to meet relevant people in different regions to tie up with channel partners.
  • Responsible for establishing Dealer Distribution Policies as per market standards
  • Performance Evaluation of Sales Personnel-Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Implementing marketing strategies analysing trends and results
  • Establishing sales objectives by forecasting
  • Developing annual sales Targets for regions and ensuring reaching those targets
  • Projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products
  • Keeping update with Market Trends, Competition and undertaking Market Research necessary for Day to Day to marketing needs
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning,
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board

Preferred candidate profile


  • Proven work experience as a National level sales Head
  • Experience managing a high performance sales team
  • Knowledge of CRM software
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • BE mechanical with Masters in Business Administration in Sales & Marketing
