Job Description


Position Overview:


We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Director to establish and lead our sales team. This role is pivotal in building the foundation of our sales organization, developing strategies, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of success in building sales teams, particularly in the cybersecurity or technology sectors, and is passionate about scaling operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Organization Development:
  • Design, develop, and implement a scalable sales structure and strategy focused on both SMBs and MSPs.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Establish and refine sales processes, tools, and metrics to optimize team performance and productivity.
  • Market Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to penetrate the SMB and MSP markets effectively.
  • Identify key market opportunities and drive initiatives to capture market share.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, lead generation, and product offerings.
  • Sales Operations:
  • Lead day-to-day sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Manage and grow key customer relationships to drive long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving consistent revenue growth.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Act as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the sales team.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Sales Director or similar leadership role in the cybersecurity or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of the SMB and MSP markets, with a track record of driving sales growth in these segments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
