As Vice President of Product, you will own SafeSend s product strategy, roadmap, and execution. You will lead a team of 25+ product managers, UX designers, and scrum masters to define and deliver world-class products that continue to deliver 40%+ revenue growth with a best-in-class customer NPS of 50+. Reporting to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Thomson Reuters Head of Product for Tax and Accounting, you will be a key member of the SafeSend leadership team, shaping the business vision and market position.
Key Responsibilities
Expand front-end gather impact (40%)
Build on the successful launch of SafeSend s next generation gather solutions such as Gather AI to simplify document sourcing for firms and clients
Enhance existing solutions while introducing new offerings that augment the value proposition by address other elements of gather process; e.g., engagement letter creation
Identify and implement integrations with Thomson Reuters and other vendors in the tax ecosystem to further automate the process for firms
Partner with Marketing and Sales to drive adoption of SafeSend s next-generation gather solutions, with a goal of ~2/3 of customers adopting within 3 years
Deepen customer engagement (30%)
Further augment SafeSend s industry-leading tax return delivery offering; e.g., launching and growing new return types such as draft, amended, and state only returns
Continue to expand firm API adoption and usage; e.g., introduce new APIs, simplify implementation, etc.
Expand integrations with payment providers, tax prep software providers, and practice management solutions to further streamline the delivery process
Build and develop best-in-class global org (20%)
Manage a high performing global team consisting of 5 direct reports and 25+ product managers, UX designers, and scrum masters
Continuously optimize global product development and planning processes
Actively develop, mentor, and coach team members
Augment product insights and analytics (10%)
Define overall product management cockpit and work with Product Managers to define KPIs across products
Work with analytics and data engineering to enhance product usage analytics
Stand up and systematize user testing platform across the product org
What We re Looking For
Experience: 10+ years in product management, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role ideally at a high growth B2B SaaS company
Leadership: Strong people manager with ability to flex up and down; e.g., able to set the strategic vision and empower others, but willing to be hands-on when needed
